  • Common name: Yellow Angel

  • Origin: Central Pacific Ocean, Taiwan, Tuamotu, southeast of Japan and the Great Barrier Reef.

• Habitat: It lives in tropical regions, on the steep outer slopes of reefs and occasionally in the reef lagoons.

 • Morphology: From laterally flattened body and with  arrowhead aspect, its color is deep yellow or orange . It has an olive-colored spot in front of the eye. Reaches 10 cm in length.

 • Water Features: Ph: 8.1 - 8.4. Temperature: 23 - 26 ° C. Salinity: 1023-1025.

• Behavior: This fish very shy and needs a lot of holes and crannies between the live rock the aquarium to hide out, even as an adult. It is quiet and peaceful, so be careful with large or aggressive fish.

• Feeding : In the wild they feed mainly on different types of algae, so it is very important that your diet is based primarily on plant matter. Varied diet that includes different types of seaweed. We can also provide flake food and shrimp.
