Caulerpa prolifera
Habitat: Found in Mediterranean coastal waters, from Portugal to Turkey and Israel, to North African countries. In Asia can be found in Indonesia. Practically stretches from the coast of Brazil to Florida and North Carolina, on American shores.
Morphology: This is a marine plant lanceolate leaf, which tends to grow upward to form more leaves arising. Bright green to olive green. Reach a sheet size of 15 to 20 cm.
Maintenance: You can serve both sumps at the aquarium, as to decorate the tank itself. It is a great consumer of nitrates and phosphates. You do not need a lot of light to hold, with 6,500 Kelvin k will suffice. It spreads by stolons.
