CHAETODON LUNULA
Scientific name: Chaetodon lunula.
Common name: Racoon butterflyfish.
Origin: Indo Pacific.
Habitat: It’s a nocturnal fish that generally forms couples or small groups in the lagoons or in the surface of the reefs protected of the marine currents, to more to 30 m of depth.
Morphology: His color corporal general is yellow, has fringe increasing white and black on the face and eyes, what gives him a appearance of raccoon. Feeding: It’s omnivorous and in its natural environment, is a fish that feeds on benthic algae, worms and crustaceans. In aquarium accept prepared foods: mysis, artemia and chopped seafood such as shrimp and fish fillet; Freeze-dried food, fresh and frozen.
